At Home With 6 by 6 Arts - Bits of Greenery
Living in the PNW, you get used to seeing green all the time. Evergreen trees that tower over you. Shrubs and ferns that seemingly never change color. Growing up here, I'm guilty for taking it for granted.
Sword ferns💗
When I've posted photos online like the one above of sword ferns from our yard, we've received comments from folks abroad exclaiming how lucky we are to have so much greenery around us.
Many people are into succulents and house plants to get their green fix. I grew up in a "Jungalow" - or a houseplant jungle. My mom kept a lot plants all over our house. It was beautiful. I have a few houseplants in our home but I'm much more proficient with a garden and outdoor plants.

Our Asian Pear tree is loaded this year!
Our home only has a few all day sunny spots, so I have to choose low light loving plants. But the garden outside has a bit more of a variety. I'm always curious about what others do for greenery at their homes. Is your patio filled with tomato plants? Are you a solo succulent keeper? Do you live on a farm and have a large outdoor garden? Share a comment or two about it the comments below.
