Coasters For Your Plants! (Plant Stands)
What does a laser cutter do when her plants are making rings on her wood window sills??? She scribbles a design out, tosses it at her husband to make it a digital design and boom = a pretty fantastic plant stand has been created!!!
Admittedly, I am a better vegetable gardener than I am a houseplant keeper. But I have managed to keep a few alive, some for over 15 years! I am a late 70's child. My mom rocked the indoor jungle. There were friggin' plants all over the house! My dad would catch his hat on a few of them and he was only 5'8" on a good day.
Early 1980's me in my Lucy halloween costume in my indoor jungle.
Bonus photo of my mom and I in full one boho mode wearing tops from the Philippines. But notice the yellow planter, compare it to the one in the above photo. Same plant - one year difference. My mom is a plant whisperer.
Back to the present - we live in a 30+ year old home. The window sills are wood on the inside. I like to keep plants there because they get a lot of sun. But after a few waterings I noticed some rings underneath the terracotta plates that are meant to catch the water. So I needed a resolution and here it is.
They are sturdy and boost my plants up off of the surface, but not too high. We do like to make functional items, not just humorous things. We made two sizes = small and large. Some assembly is required, but they are easy to assemble! More information about the specs and even more photos are available in the listing.
A little corner in our home. With some of our plant stands in use. I lurvvvve them!
I hope you all had a decent Monday.
